Vayle Full Privacy Notice
This section outlines the types of Personal Information Vayle collects and the purposes for which it is used, depending on how you interact with us.
1. Customers
If you have engaged Vayle to provide services (a “Customer”), we collect your business contact details and other work-related information. This enables us to fulfill service requests, manage your account, issue invoices, and communicate updates about our Terms of Service and other administrative matters. We request that you do not submit Personal Information unrelated to your professional role when interacting with Vayle.
2. Registrants
If you have signed up to receive our content, learn more about our services, or participate in events or surveys (a “Registrant”), we collect your contact information and related preferences. Customer Use of Personal Information
When Vayle provides its software and services to Customers, Vayle processes Personal Information on behalf of and in accordance with the instructions of the applicable Customer. Customers are responsible for determining the purposes and legal authority for the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information within the Vayle platform, including ensuring compliance with applicable privacy legislation such as MFIPPA or FIPPA.
Vayle acts as a service provider and does not determine the purposes for which Personal Information is collected or used within Customer workflows. Vayle processes such Personal Information solely to provide, maintain, and support the Services, and in accordance with contractual obligations with the Customer.
Personal Information Collected

Any personal information submitted via public-facing forms hosted by Vayle is collected on behalf of our Customers and governed by their respective privacy policies.

Collection and Use of Children’s Personal Information
Vayle does not knowingly collect or solicit Personal Information directly from children under the age of 13. Individuals under 13 should not attempt to register for Vayle’s Services or submit Personal Information directly to us. If Vayle becomes aware that it has collected Personal Information directly from a child under the age of 13 without appropriate authorization, we will take steps to delete that information as soon as reasonably possible. When Personal Information is submitted through a public-facing form hosted by Vayle on behalf of a government organization or institution (such as an FOI request form), that information is collected and processed on behalf of the applicable organization. In those circumstances, the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information is governed by that organization’s privacy notice and applicable legislation, not by Vayle’s privacy notice.
No Sale of Personal Information
Vayle does not sell Personal Information to third parties. We do not disclose Personal Information for payment, commercial benefit, or other consideration unrelated to the provision of our Services.
Information Shared with Service Providers
We may share Personal Information with vendors, consultants, and other service providers who perform services on our behalf and are necessary to deliver, operate, and support the Services. These service providers are contractually required to process Personal Information only for the purposes of providing services to
Vayle, to keep such information confidential, and to implement appropriate safeguards in accordance with applicable privacy laws.Examples of service providers may include cloud hosting, analytics, communications, and customer relationship management providers. Personal Information shared for these purposes is limited to business contact information and other information necessary to support the Services.
Marketing and Communications
Vayle may communicate with you about our services, events, or offerings that may be of interest to you. We do not share your Personal Information with third parties for their independent marketing purposes without your express consent.
How long we keep information we collect about you depends on the type of information we are storing. We will only retain your Personal Information for as long as necessary for the purpose for which that data was collected and to the extent required by applicable law. When we no longer need Personal Information, we will delete it from our systems or anonymize it to ensure you cannot be identified.
If you have elected to receive marketing and communications content from us, we will retain information about your preferences for a reasonable timeframe from the last date you expressed interest in our content, products, or services. We retain information collected from cookies and other tracking technologies for a reasonable period of time from the date such information was collected.
California Residents
- Third-party Marketing. We don’t share Personal Information with others for their direct marketing purposes without your consent. We’ll update this policy if that ever changes.
- Do Not Track. We may collect information about your usage and activity through Cookies, as described in our Cookie Notice. Nevada Residents

Nothing in this Privacy Policy restricts our ability to:
- Comply with applicable laws;
- Comply with a civil, criminal, or regulatory inquiry, investigation, subpoena, or summons;
- Cooperate with law enforcement agencies;
- Exercise or defend legal claims;
- Detect security incidents and protect against fraudulent or illegal activity and prosecute those responsible for such activity; or
- Transfer Personal Information as part of a merger or acquisition, dissolution, bankruptcy, or any other transaction in which a third party assumes control of all or part of our business.
Individual data privacy rights and definitions of what is defined as personal information varies, depending on the jurisdiction. Given we process Personal Data in Canada and the United States only, our Privacy Notice has been written to reflect regulatory requirements within those jurisdictions. In some cases, we have chosen to go above and beyond what is required by law to demonstrate our commitment to protecting Personal Information.
